Switching to Nortel in the mid 90’s, he held senior positions in data product management and sales specializing in new network technologies, particularly voice over IP. He was the initial winner of Nortel’s highest sales award – Sales Hero – for his work with Sprint. Before his recent retirement, Rob was the Chief Technical Officer for Nortel’s cable industry group that has been successful in capturing significant optical and voice over IP business around the globe.
