JDS Uniphase acquired Fitel-Photomatrix in 1998. After 10 years of running and growing his original business, Yves was appointed Senior Vice President, Operations when he joined with JDS Uniphase. He held that position until he retired from JDSU in 2001. Yves now serves on the Boards and Advisory Boards of private companies. He also sits on The Ottawa Hospital Board of Governors and the Ottawa Health Research Institute Board of Directors.
